I love how pleased Schroeder looks in panel 4. It doesn’t matter whether it’s legal, or even a good strategy, as long as you can rub it in the face of the person who tried to correct your vocabulary.

And it’s even a strike!

Struck him out with the ol’ cornhole!

It’s no wonder they keep hitting Charlie so much.

Batting without a helmet I’d much rather be thrown a bean bag than a bean ball.

Sometimes ya just gotta play with what ya got. I remember as a kid in New York City playing stickball with half a Spaldeen (after it had split apart at the seam).

This could be the only strike thrown by Charlie Brown in all of Peanuts history!

It’s funny they’re using a beanbag. When I was a kid in the Old South, beanbags were just used for an unfortunately named game: cornhole.
