you’re welcome, Lucy, for Charlie Brown being so considerate
Don’t you love comic physics?
LOL
Nena would like this strip, and so would the cast of The Red Balloon.
Charlie sure knows how to take the fun out of something.
Knot a good idea Charlie Brown!
A red balloon. Now she just needs 98 more (not everyone will get that).
They must live near a shipyard to have a rope that big.
Now we know why Lucy removes the football when Charlie Brown tries to kick it.
And thus was Lucy’s terror of cobras (and all other snakes) born.
I love the enchanting short film entitled “The Red Balloon” which Albert Lamorisse gave us in 1957. Always a joy to watch.
I love Lucy’s expression in the last panel.
That’s either a lot of helium, or a very light rope.
I’m surprised Lucy didn’t float away with it. Charlie Browns rope would be considderably heavier than that string, and yet the ballon holds it up as easily as the string.
How did CB tie that wide rope to the balloon without popping it?
