When my husband & I lived & worked in a homeless organization, there was another woman who lived in the house named Charlotte who always felt that people were talking about her, and was always sticking her nose in where it didn’t belong. One day, just to prove a point, we had a conversation, including statements like, “I really liked Charlotte’s Web.” “I’d like to go to Charlotte Motor Speedway someday.” etc. Sure enough, every time we mentioned a “Charlotte”, she’d come running.
