Fine contrasting colors, right girls?!

Because I have brown hair my mother used to like to dress me in yellow…in particular, mustard yellow. She somehow missed that this particular shade of yellow made me look washed out & sick; teachers would literally send me to the nurse’s office! To this day, I HATE yellow. Clothes should never be chosen because they “match” part of the body!

I do like the friendship between Violet and Snoopy in the early years of the strip (beginning when the former was introduced). Even when she is furious at Charlie Brown, she gets along famously with his dog.
