Fall is almost here, in like a month. I’ve noticed the sun sets getting earlier already.

Great strip, as always. But as an artist, I have to say I’m also impressed by the texture on the tree. You can feel the roughness of the bark. Very nice, Mr. Schulz.

Thinking of Adam and Eve; what is one’s “press and save” is another’s “dress and wave” (the latter only if there’s upwind, of course)

I think “Autumn Leaves” was a hit around this time.

After mid-August, the sun ended its most intense quarter of the year, so we’re on the three-and-a-half week seasonal lag, which should end about the first week in September along with summer.

I remember doing that in school.

Schulz’s lettering is usually very nice, but at first I thought that said “dress and save” and I was thinking is she going to make little clothes for it?

We used to get the Sunday edition of Peanuts Begins, but we don’t anymore. What happened? (It was previously seen on Fridays.)

I have a tree in the neighborhood that’s already changing colors.
