My youngest sister sucked her thumb until she was about 7. One of our cousins asked her once, “Hey Molly, what does that thumb taste like?” She pulled it out of her mouth, looked at it, looked at him, said “Roast beef”, then stuck it back in her mouth and went on about her business.
