Or for that matter, toast the new year with glasses of non-alcoholic Sparkling Cider rather than booze.;-D

When done with the champagne the cup will then be used for coffee the next morning ;-)

My husband is a basically retired musician. For New Year’s Eve, he plays at a local nursing home from 7:00-8:00pm. They serve non-alcoholic sparkling juice about 7:30 & drop a “ball”. They had plastic champagne flutes. At Midnight at home we had a small bottle of sparkling wine which I just used juice glasses. Didn’t feel like climbing up to get out the real flutes & thne having to put them back today. It still tastes the same. Happy New Year everyone.

Skip the mugs.. just share the bottle… or better yet.. get a bottle for each.

The bottle is still half full – another mug each should finish it off – Happy New Year.
