Liked the article, Clark. Collateralized Debt Obligations is newspeak for Junk.

I see in the article’s comments somebody blames Clinton. The right wing never gives up their delusions.

Christmas is a Right-Wing Holiday, because it celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ into the world. Pretty sure it’s Lefties who try to shut down Nativity scenes on public grounds and coerce people into celebrating the “Holiday Season.”

^Ho Ho Ho. How about 2000-2008 when things just got better and better every day. Too bad the Supreme Court didn’t vet the 2008 election.

John will have ” a majority” in the House, but Mitch will still be working his lump of coal. Coal mining is dirty work, whether below or above ground, right up Mitch’s alley.

Merry Christmas everyone! I am enjoying my time off at home with my family as this Federal Government employee observes the official Holiday of Christmas on its eve. Our country was founded on righteous principles found in the Holy Bible. Most of the founding fathers highly respected this book, and the faith that it inspires, and designed our fledgling Republic for religious and righteous people. Please join us in the continuation of this dream, and repent from trying to change it into something that was never meant to be.

ahab, those are some great pictures, thanks.

I don’t care if you other people have nativity scenes, as long as I’m not paying for them.

^^ Now why do you have to go and bring up that “slavery” thing as if it’s a bad thing?! The Bible specifically condones slavery. Slaves will receive the Kingdom of Heaven as long as they mind their master. Sheesh. You act like entire fledgling economies were built on the backs of slaves. Our Founding Fathers were without flaw, and don’t you ever forget it! *

    Happy Birthday, Jesus!

Let today’s festivities show how much the world loves a long-haired radical socialist Jew.

(Oh wait, that’s what Good Friday is about, isn’t it?)

TCL: “I cannot bring myself to give good wishes to people I vehemently, if not violently, oppose. Why wish well on your enemies?”

Hillel: “What is hateful to thyself do not do to another. That is the whole of the Law, the rest is Commentary.”

Rabbi (Fiddler On The Roof): “Is there a proper blessing for the Tsar? Of course! May God bless and keep the Tsar… far away from us!

My own version: Wish well to those who hate you, but sometimes a telegram is better than a hug.

    Here’s another from Fiddler:

Yente: “People! I tell you, Tzeitel, if God lived on earth, people would break his windows!”

And many of those who believe he did would be the first in line to cast their stones.

great article clark kent, and quite accurate. I work in the industry and it’s spot on.

the true value of these triple ‘A’ rated bundles are still unknown, and why the economy will be slow to recover for years to come.

i called it ‘economic terrorism’ by the bankers. of course they claim they were pressured by congress, but they could and should have always been responsible and just said “NO” to making their ill-gotten millions that came out of our pockets.
