Everything it controls needs a separate “smart” attachment. I love to think about all the people who opened one of those things and sat there saying “Alexa. turn on the lights.” or “Hey Google, play music.” And it just sat there.
Without their parents’ permission, kids are using the Amazon app in Alexa to order toys and other stuff. Everyone games the system. I’m surprised people aren’t having loads of mulch delivered every time one of their dogs barks.

I suppose that is why ‘smart houses’ are not ‘magic houses’. Not as much fun but dog resistant.
