Just be glad that everyone is not trying to get your attention at the same time.

Yup, Elly. You’ve been replaced by a Pro who had to put up with John as a little critter…

Oh, I would love it if someone came and improved things. Just give her a big hug, thank her and enjoy the changes! No one can replace Mom so don’t worry about that…

Can you say “Controll Freak”? And what’s up with panel 2? Unhand my daughter!

Ummmm - I’m thinking Grandma is unbuttoning Elizabeths shirt in panel 2, lakesnake, getting her ready for her bath. No manhandling going on of the child. Or Grandma-handling, as it were.

Ok Redhead55, just wondering, with all the other controlling going on. Most of the controll freaks I’ve been around weren’t trying to be mean, just thought their way was the only way.

You agreed to care for the kids, not to reorganize my kitchen. Now please put everything back the way it was.

I was wrong yesterday. Grandparents weren’t dashing out the door with bags in hand. Must have met John and Elly at the airport and were just walking out to the car. Thanks to poster who pointed that out to me.

    Nobody rearranges my kitchen. Nobody.

I have a hard enough time finding things that I put away. But I’ve got an excuse, vbg. Our house is a work in progress, and I have to keep moving things. Fortunately, or not, the pantry is finished now; I should be able to put things where they’re most convenient.

No woman is ever good enough for a son.

I have to disagree, gofinsc. My son picked the perfect wife!

Reminds me of an old Herman cartoon.

After Herman retired, his wife was telling a friend that Herman had re-arranged all her kitchen cabinets.

The friend wondered why she wasn’t upset.

Herman’s wife responded, “I went in the garage and re-arranged all his tools.”

I loved my mother-in-law very much and if she ever thought for one minute that I wasn’t good enough for her son, she kept it to herself and I never knew it because she was always respectful and treated me wonderfully. She passed away 7 years ago and I sure do miss her.

Thankfully though … she never rearranged my kitchen and put up new drapes!
