Evolution is a difficult discussion to discuss.

If you buy it yourself, then get whatever you want… if you’re trying to burden your father with that because YOU want it, then shame on you…

While the evolution of Baldo’s preferred ride shouldn’t be too difficult to discuss, the cost of restored ’64 Chevy Impalas currently runs from about $25K to nearly $70K on classics.autotrader.com website. I agree with sheilag on this.

Baldo has neglected to show the final step of transportation evolution. It would be the nice convertible on blocks and rusting away, while Baldo is riding in handicapped accessible public transportation to the senior citizen center. I know this is being a downer, but It is the logical extension of Baldo’s argument for this dream car.

Has anybody else noticed that the backgrounds in panels 4 and 5 don’t match?

As a dad I say he gets whatever ride he can afford. If I’m buying, I’m choosing.
