I wonder if that’s why the dinosaurs died out—The moist towelettes came too late. I must go to that museum and find out!

Since King Louis the XIV of France lived his entire life in the 18th century it would seem to me rather difficult for a person living in the 17th century to eat his heart.

It’s an error, of course. Buckland lived most of his life in the 19th century.

If it’s an estimated 100,00 miles of blood vessels in the adult body, how many are in a CHILD’S body?

One of my most vivid memories about the circulatory system was a World Book we had in my classroom in elementary school. It told me that, if the blood vessels of one person were stretched out into one line, it would go from New York to Sydney, Australia 5 times.

That one also said Truman was president, even though it was during the Kennedy administration, but encyclopedias do cost money…

After which, Buckland reportedly said, “Hmm…needs gallic.”
