@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny ,our Hero Mr Andrew Capp has become an expert at dodging getting a job but he must keep going for interviews so that he can keep his dole money :o( right? my avatar is of my best woodworking projects I’ve ever done a wishing well , maybe if I throw some money in it I’ll get better luck than I’ve been having lately, how was your day? ours has not been particularly hectic , this morning we managed to do all the pending errands , I paid my firearms permit , we collected our free drugs from our pharmacy and went to the bank to withdraw some cash from the ATM and cashed a tax rebate check because we had been over taxed , the rest of the day should be relaxed , take care pal

So one doesn’t have to actually take a job, just apply to keep on the dole?

I haven’t eaten potato waffles in goodness knows how long.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. WHY do they keep sending him to interviews?

Today I found out that one of my clients who I phone weekly where I volunteer (She’s 88) had been admitted to hospital with pneumonia and a UTI just before Christmas. Her son answered the phone and I immediately thought the worst.

I think she’s getting better though. I reported it to my manager and she gave him a call back explaining what will happen. I can’t phone anymore until she is back from hospital and is ready for the calls again.

I love woodwork furniture. You’ve done a fantastic job there.
