    Done?

With that kind of homework and having to go to school? Yes.

With procrastinating unpleasant tasks or handling some unpleasant people? No…

    With learning? Never!

Done? I always finish reading my GoComics, but they keep coming back the next day. I’m never done!

When you’re a kid, tasks are assigned separately, and you think things can be finished.

“Make your bed”; “Do your homework.”

    Then you’re done.

When you’re an adult, everything is continuous….

Your job, the cooking, the dishes, the grass…

the kids, if you have them, and the car repairs, and the bills. Much more.

Nobody assigns the tasks… it’s up to you to look, and keep up….

and you discover that you’re never “done.”

The awareness and acceptance of that is one measure of adulthood.

Not even close, I’m still in the ’d’s on GoComics.

OH, you mean homework. Well, not exactly since ‘homework’ has been replaced with ‘housework’, and that never ends. Especially since the maid’s on strike. She’s complaining about not getting paid. Go figure!

I was that kid most of the time. Homework was done before I left school. My son was the same way.
