It’s no secret that I like rounded word balloons, so under the circumstances I might personally have opted for three small interconnected ones in Panel #3, partly as there was space, but also to break down the count into individual ‘Beats.’

Hubbs ‘telegraphing’ his intent the same way anime robot pilots shout out their finishing moves, so that the ‘Monster-Of-The-Week’ will know what killed it. ✨

So this is where it all began, now he can throw into the next timezone. It’s true perserverance is one of the greatest focuses of energy you can have.

If only Hubbs new it was this side of his personality Ellie would fall in love with. I wonder if she’d still grow a crush on him if they met as kids?

If only Ellie could see this memory too, she’d find him so cute she’d jump in the past to give him a big hug! XD

I hope Ellie has patience for him mastering his amorous techniques.
