I actually loved Green Acres. Such a surreal show… Ralph and her brother Alf the contractors repairing the farm house, climbing the telephone pole to make a phone call, the other outlandish characters and of course the patriotic music that would start playing whenever Oliver would make a speech and the other characters attempts to find out where that music was coming from. There wasn’t another show quite like this one on television.
