Hmm. He is washing and she is drying. I usually see it the other way around. In my house, my wife didn’t want me washing (and, no we don’t have a pet to lick the plates clean (SEG)), so I get to dry. Now, at this stage of our lives, it doesn’t matter if I do both, she does get a little upset when she sees the paper plates drying out on the counter (ABSEG).
I see the soapy water but where is the rinse water? When I was a kid our dishwasher would mysteriously break for a day or two so that my sister and I could learn how to wash dishes by hand.
