    Cleokaya:

    Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat IVY.

    Because oats are NOT to be consumed by little lambs.

    Just so you know, oats are rocket fuel for horses, and I suppose to other animals, as well. I have a former racehorse, and I would never feed him oats, he’s lively enough. That’s one of the reasons that working horses get oats, they need the energy. Small animals get all hyper, and I dare say lambs would bounce around like they swallowed a bunch of springs

    Thanks for the info Basqueian I always thought oats were a treat for horses but not for cows or those with 4 stomachs. I used to give my horse a handful of oats or two.
