There’s an ocean and a beach in Endtown? Wow! And it looks like it’s out under the open skies. An adventure topside coming up?

Chic will find her… or it… whatever may cause the noise.

Wally: “It’s been three weeks. Kirbee, are you sure Chic had to stay in detention at school all this time? Maybe we should go check on him.”

Kirbee: “Give him a few more days. You know that Chic doesn’t do well in a formal educational environment. He’s still probably writing his name on the chalkboard.”

Here’s the classic “I dare ya!” scenario. Chic of course will not be able to resist.

Ha, I was thinking, “I double dog dare ya!”

Nice to see clouds and rain over the ocean. Too bad they never extend onto the land. Also bars on the exits?

Fortunately Scooby-doo and the rest are turned to dust. Otherwise I’d fear for the direction of this story.

Considering all the real danger Chic has survived, a “scary noise” doesn’t seem like much of a threat.

Out in the open. Unprotected by dittos. Hopefully that approaching storm will hide Chic from the Topsider satellite. And create a more sinister backdrop.:0

Since Chic has the appearance of a bird ( Sort of like a dove), maybe it is appropriate that he will bring back an olive leaf.

wait…a seedling on a windowsill, a beach where ghostly sounds can be heard? I think there’s an island off the coast with an active ecosystem, and those ghostly wails are just animal cries that no one is used to hearing, and no one knows because this colony is so stagnant no one has bothered to go out and explore.Better get to it fast, with the satellite the topsiders launched they’re likely to discover and colonize it first.

I hope this isn’t going to be the old “kid gets caught by the enemy and parents must save him.”

His story would be more believable if he hadn’t been bullying Chick before this.

Why am I having this feeling that the woman out there is Chic’s real mother?

Looks like Duffy isn’t really bullying anyone, just trying to wise Chick up against telling questionable tales without being able to back them up. Chick claims to be an adventurer, and Duffy has offered Chick the chance to prove himself to the others; and in turn would back up his claim. I like Duffy!

Some chickens are quite formidable!

Okay, this’s definitely not right! Since when does Endtown have a beach, much less an ocean? C’mon, Aaron! You can definitely do better than this!
