what was the point of checking your blood pressure if you’re going to make it soar again with a hearty, cholesterol-inducing breakfast?

I usually head for the donut shop (Tim Hortons) around the corner…

A breakfast buffet once in a while won’t kill you !

There is an appropriate time for everything.

thats what we do!!

For most of us, any chance to “die young and leave a beautiful corpse” has passed; but we can still “Live fast” at the breakfast buffet.

Because you normally need to stop eating 8 ~ 12 hours before the blood-work.. makes sense to go for a good breakfast afterwards.

About the only time we go to a restaurant for breakfast is on trips and most of the time it’s a biscuit sandwich and coffee from a drive-through.

I loved the big boy breakfast buffet when I was little! Haven’t thought of it in years. So many years.

Yeah, gotta keep that A1C above 10.

That is how you end the fast the doctor put you on.

It tastes good!

We try to avoid Monday appointments because a great catfish place just a couple miles from the hospital is closed that day.
