Hey, how’s about just putting up four sticks, and some string around them…….that always worked for me!

He doesn’t know what he’s doing. Using a transit and a string level?? They do the same thing and the plumbbob has to be mounted under the transit. The square is completely unnessary as the transit also squares the foundation.

Even if he needed the square, the way he’s got it situated, he would be squaring the stud. What am I doing? I COMPLAIN about people that nit-pick the comics. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?!

Seeing these nearly naked guys in the snow always makes me want to turn up the thermostat!

Several days later, Clumsy is found bludgeoned to death with his framing square.
