I prefer my natural look to be natural. I wear mascara and some eye shadow. My eyelashes and eyebrows are so blonde as to look non-existent so I do mascara. I have found that some eyeshadow seems to block airborne allergens so my eyelids don’t swell and get all flaky with eyeshadow like they do if I don’t wear any. There are some really pretty neutral colors out there that add just a bit of shimmer. If we are going somewhere special, I may add some color, usually green but that is it. I generally forego lip color also – I play the flute, lip color and wind instruments do not get along!

My husband says I don’t need makeup. What he doesn’t realize is it takes makeup to achieve the “natural” look!

Make a difference to whom? Especially while sitting in a dark theater.

Some young women are caked in makeup….. and they don’t always go to the edges.
