How about damning the torpedoes?

Darning is a lot harder than sewing.

And then there is good old duct tape.

You can always buy one.

You can always start small. Placemats, trivets, a doll’s quilt, a baby quilt, a single bed quilt. You don’t have to start with the main project.

Remedial sewing classes (the type that used to be part of home ec classes) are available for a reasonable fee.

No but I have been referred to as that old so and so.

Where the heck did that darned sock go?

That’s more than I’ve ever done!

It’s becoming a lost art. Wish I knew how.

I’ll stick to riding

Not at all. I darn some people several times a day; sometimes even stronger…

Cursing out a pair of socks don’t count.
