The sad part is that it’s true. This sort of pilfering is epidemic in Cleveland.

“Pilfering”? How about grand theft, burglary, and felony vandalism?

But the main point of the cartoon is to smear the image of Santa Claus as a symbol of goodness. Just another example of Leftist nihilism.

Carolo1: Exactly what would that something be?

If you want to insult someone, just come right out and say it.

And if you disagree with something I’ve posted, you could always directly address any disagreement with facts and reasoning, rather than innuendo.

Why bother? You certainly show no interest in facts.

We have yet to plumb the depths of whatever it is we think we are talking about.

I’m a left-wing moron (as opposed to right-wing morons) and I love Santa. He’s one of the few things about the Solstice Season worth caring about.

Farren: Assuming you are addressing me, you have no idea how wrong you are. Of course, your arbitrary claim is self-defending, so you don’t have to offer any facts to back it up. Convenient.

As to my original statements about this cartoon: First, the word “pilfer” implies a small amount or object being stolen, and I was calling attention to the fact that what is shown in the cartoon is a serious crime.

Second, the Left (meaning the political movement in favor of the growth of government, increased control of the economy, and redistribution of the people’s earnings) has always had a destructive impulse, as shown by the millions killed by Communism, by all the Leftist invasions, wars and revolutions around the world, by their opposition to the obvious productive superiority of capitalism and the middle class, and by a rampant hatred of the wealthy and successful. I’d call that nihilistic just for starters.

I’d be interested to hear not just that someone disagrees with me but WHY they do.

Eldo, I’m a bit confused about your reference to “Farren” as opposed to pschear…since farren IS the entirety of the poster’s handle. Can you perhaps explain your point to me?

When my big brudder told me my Daddy was Santa, I went to town hall for a reindeer hunting licence. Write me. Cell Block D, North pole.

Clearly the left, or at least Derf, feels that stealing from an evil bank that foreclosed on some poor slob is okay. I will write you, Lewreader. Be strong!
