This looks like something Calvin would have done (and undoubtedly did, whether we saw it or not).

Hmmm. Their front yard is all blacktop under that snow?

A New Age spiritualist would have placed the mailbox in the middle of a labyrinth for both the owner and the mail carrier to walk.

“C’mon, Doris!! I left a piece of that fancy cheese you like at the end!!!!!”

To much time on his hands. Sort of the same thing the corn growers go through.

Amazing. Unless the hand holding the shovel is covering a clear path (and it looks like it could be) he has no clear path to the front door :)

I got a chuckle out of one of my travel mates as we made our way through the security line at the airport. I told him, “There better be a piece of cheese at the end of this.”

That’s a really dead front lawn.

The guys who clean the sidewalks around here don’t do such a neat job for sure.

My sister has a heated driveway, to get rid of snow and ice. Maybe this guy has the same thing for his yard, but laid down more creatively.

One of the neighborhood residents in my New Jersey phase installed astroturf on his lot. It was genius!

If he enjoys it that much don’t knock it.

Why all the art critics here?

If the ground was green they’d complain that grass isn’t green in the winter. If it was brown they’d claim it was dirt. If the snow was piled between the lanes they couldn’t see the maze.

I’m surprised no one complained that the mailbox flag was upside down!

Quirky characters always seem to have perfectly fitting names in this comic. I miss this guy not being addressed at the end of her balloon quote by a name. (“Larry” always breaks me up because I have a quirky cousin named Larry, so let this guy be a Larry.)

Any time we get a snowfall deeper than 6", I do this in my back yard for my 2 short-leggedy Scotties…they love racing around in it!
