In Æsop’s day a slave was entitled to half the proceeds from his work. He could have remained a fat slave, but prefered to save up & buy his freedom. Rather than return to his ancestral home in Ethiopia, he became a famous story teller, whose own story is as good as those he told.

It really makes me sad to see Little Dog chained up. I hope he gets free soon. Having a home just isn’t worth it.
