My cat’s are very clear when they want to be fed. They start picking at the furniture – not just any furniture, but always the furniture that is directly in my line of sight, to make sure I see them doing it. I tell them to knock it off, they run away, then come back and repeat five minutes later.
The problem is that they sometimes start with this two hours before dinner time.

My cat will go and tear newspaper, even eat a piece if I’m not fast enough. He’s even chewed other documents and bills lol

Now, I’ve seen cats, not only follow people around, but weave their way through the legs.
