Good morning Vagabonds.Well, we are going to have a storm come in the middle of afternoon but they don’t really know what’s going to happen.

They think my area will get 2 to 4 inches of snow until it turns to rain and sleet at night with bad driving conditions.

Looks like I might not be going to the prayer meeting tonight.

I don’t know if you are scheduled to get any of this Mark.

Better make sure you have a load of wood inside.

At least it’s not going to be as cold as you are Rita.

It’s supposed to go up to the 40’s by morning.

That should help melt and get rid of it.

Have a good day all of you.

    Hello Vagabonds

Calm, right now. The storm is due about four pm and goes four pm tomorrow with an accumulation of 6-12”. How lucky can we get.

I think this winter is starting to make me grumpy. When I hear of the first pints of syrup coming out of the woods I’ll start cheering up. Town meeting day is another good sign to look for.

Enough of my complaints. Have a nice day all.

    Good Warm morning, Vagabonds,

It was all the way up to 16!!! We have a heat wave for the next 5 days!! WooHoo! And, on top of all that, we had our first gnat flit around my computer screen last night. Spring can’t be too far off!

Good luck with this big storm, Arthur and Mark. Hopefully it’ll all be dry snow.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Arthur, stay warm and safe. Please.

Continuing the saga of the insurance claim. Our assigned adjuster was out sick yesterday so I spoke to another guy who arranged a two day car rental for us. He said that because he wasn’t the rep assigned to the case, he couldn’t do any more than that. He also said he was going to have a company that does damage estimates come to our house and take a look at the car.

Then we called Enterprise and gave them the reservation number from the insurance co and they combined the contract and we don’t have to turn this car in until Thursday. Next we got a call back from Enterprise telling us that the reservation was only for one day, not two. So I called the insurance co again and got yet a third adjuster. She insisted that the rental was for 2 days but didn’t give us a solution for what we should do about Enterprise.

She did suggest that we get the car over to our chosen body shop and the appraisal and estimate could be done there more efficiently and they would just keep the car. So Michael carefully drove it over there and we left it in their care along with the claim number and adjuster’s name. I will call our own adjuster back today and try to get the car rental extended beyond a couple of days. Phew!

In the meantime, this morning is my regular prayer meeting, so I’ll be leaving here shortly. Michael is coming down with something, so he’s in bed with the dizzies (it always affects his inner ear).

It’s 33 outside with an expected high of 56.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

Always fun dealing with insurance companies isn’t it?
