Spicy’s morning is not complete till she gets a dog outside the fence in trouble. Once she hears the owner telling their pooch to be quiet, she happily comes inside for her morning nap. Mission accomplished.

Wow, is that Cleo as the dominatrix?? The glitter is blinding me!

Never knew a dog who could cross her hind legs like that.

I’d say someone really wants to ring out the old!

The neighborhood, frankly, expects nothing less of Scuffy. This is why they call him Scuffmeister, or Sheriff Scuff, or even, (in some very hush-hush circles,) Mayor Scuff.

I’m getting a Liza Minelli vibe from the poster with Cleo. I think Liza may have modeled Cleo’s original in her own performance.

    Happy New Year, all…

Though from where I sit, on the US west coast, this all gets confusing.

    On Sherpa, it’s tomorrow already….

And obviously, the December 31st, 2020 “Cleo and Company” would be the strip for New Year’s Eve.

But here in California, it’s still the tag end of the 30th…

so I feel like I should hold off on those wishes for another 24 hours.

But I’m late.. It’s 11 pm here, 1am on the East Coast.

By then, the ball will have dropped … the parties would be getting over… in a sane year.

    You remember parties, right?

So I’ll just keep saying it at odd intervals….

Happy happy New Year…. And goodbye, 2020.

Don’t let the door hit you… But begone!

Cleo looks bewitching…. glamorous and twinkly, as if to entice 2021 to hurry and arrive.

I’d never wish a day away… we get too few…. but I have to agree with the sentiment.

Maybe we can call the 31st part of 2021?

With any luck, though, there’ll be another December 31st, in 2021, so I guess not. Sigh….

Meanwhile, it’s a beautiful poster… with sparklies and gold, and happy thoughts for the future….

And eyeshadow that’s almost but not quite purplie!

I sense a “9 differences” coming up. Less sparkly.

And “Guten Rutsch!” to you, too!

Here’s an off-the-wall thought. What if everyone, at midnight January 1, was at any window of their residence that faces outside the building, bidding adieu to 2020 with a preview of the next moon shot. I suggest you look at it this way: If everyone is doing it, nobody will be looking at your perspective.

Happy New Year, everyone. Party safely – at the Tiki, perhaps. First glass of champagne on me.

Never in all my born days have I seen such flashiness, sparkliness,* purpliness,* and StelBeliness* all in one place.

HNY to everyone from Belchertown to Santa Rosa (and all points in between)!

    * My spell check just exploded with a ᴡʜᴀᴍ! (like Claude’s Monopoly piece).

P.S. Ed Owens has the right idea about “ringing out the old” in today’s Bluebonnets.

Good morning, Ballardeers! Q Date: 293.98599.45 New Year’s Eve and National Champagne Day

Thursday and today’s Stel-lar poster has it all! Purplies AND Sparklies!!

Y’all celebrate(?) the end of this sh*t show that has been 2020 responsibly. (((((Hearts and Hugs all around!)))))
