1956? That’s more than 20 years before the first Hobby Lobby was founded. Therefore “Hübby Lobby” can’t possibly be a parody of Hobby Lobby, it dates back too far, rather Hobby Lobby is a parody of “Hübby Lobby”! XD
Looks like this man takes the award for the “Most Wipped Man in the World”. I would assume this guy was Ms. Edith’s husband, but she mentioned having a lot of kids, no way she could do that if she abandoned her husband right after the wedding…also I can’t imagine him not taking the way out if it was her.
You shall not pass!…out of the purgatory that is the hubby holding pen, into the land of crass consumerism, where shiny objects are perceived as necessities.

I assume this is due to bad luck from the bride and groom seeing each other before the wedding.

Poor guy. Somewhere along the way he should have figured that she don’t like him.

Well, did he ever return?
No he never returned and his fate is still unlearned (what a pity)
He may ride forever ‘neath the streets of Boston
He’s the man who never returned

Let’s all go to the lobby;
Let’s all go to the lobby;
Let’s all go to the lobby
To get ourselves a treat.
Delicious things to eat;
The popcorn can’t be beat.
The sparkling drinks are just dandy;
The chocolate bars and nut candy.
So let’s all go to the lobby
To get ourselves a treat.
Let’s all go to the lobby
To get ourselves a treat.

Someday, somewhere in some unknown corner of the universe men will not be portrayed as clueless buffoons and total idiots…

My wife says that gay men are wonderful shopping companions. They’ve thrown off the shackles of manly conformity and enjoy life more.

The good thing out of all of these is that the girls get to buy stuff for next Christmas and New Year’s at a discount.
