I think they are both being too hard on him here. Really.. he knew her as a human for a very long time. Shouldn’t hate on himself for forgetting a ring size. He still got it for her, clearly he cares!Also, that cat is being a good sport..good thing he could find a pole long enough to work the gondola from up there!(And it must be REALLY long..considering what little we’ve seen of the underwater over the series. (That happens later..but it was pretty deep!)
