Any Nero Wolfe fans out there? I remember a character Archie Goodwin called Dew-Drop Irby, because his bald head was always covered with drops of sweat that somehow stayed in place and never rolled down his face.

I’m thinking Gil isn’t acting like a normal coach, who would tell kids to schedule their appointments outside of practice time.

P1 I wonder how his teammates in street clothes feel now? I did not see them in the stands.

P1, It’s been so long since Milford’s last victory that the guy holding up one finger forgot all about the first win.

P2, Are you kidding, Coach? We finally won! I’m going to Disney World!

P3, So, next game the whole starting 5 will be out. I hope they have enough players left.

In all reality , Mike thinks to himself Screw you Coach , the meds Bobby Howry gave me are working just fine. I don’t need to lay on a couch and answer the quack shrink Ì M Kookie’s questions . Better living through chemistry !

P2- Frank, Fred and Fonzie Fist Pump appear overjoyed by the results. They finally made the travel squad.

P1 – “No, look right there! See them? There’s like hundreds of ants all over the walls!”

P2 – My favorite. There’s always someone running around throwing their arms in the air in victory for at least 10 minutes straight after the game ends.

P3 – Gil, reiterating what a hero he is for curing Filion’s depression issues in 30 minutes or less.

And now the inevitable letdown when he realizes once again that his glory days are numbered. Womp womp.
