I heard cats can’t taste sweet foods due to being full carnivores and thus lacking the taste buds necessary. Maybe that’s the reason Hobbes hates it so much?

Wait a minute…isn’t chocolate toxic to cats? And aren’t most mammals lactose-intolerant? Calvin, are you TRYING to make your friend sick?

You just know Calvin is gonna do something stupid with all that “energy”.

You know the rule. If the box says it, it’s correct.

I once had the shakes years ago from drinking a Rock Star or a Monster. Never again after the shakes wore down and I was wearing down.

And the eight essential vitamins are fructose, sugar, brown sugar, refined sugar, carol syrup, maple syrup and sweet corn flakes.

I used to think ‘pepanenergy’ was one word.

Oh boy, am I thirsty too, and I need to p** real bad…..

Calvin needs sugar as much as the Manson Family needs a set of steak knives. Both are dangerous.

If Hobbes has “only” had two bowls, how many has Calvin had?

Nothing good can come from Calvin getting on a sugar high.

“fortified”? Is that the cereal version of bread’s “enriched”?

I feel sick just thinking about this. It’s time to move on to another adventure.

I find grape nuts is the only cereal that doesn’t taste like candy.

So Walter White is now in the business of making cereal.

Calvin will be climbing the wall after all that sugar and chocolate.

More like… part of a un-wholesome, un-nutritious, un-balanced marketing scheme.

Checking the labels, I’ve seen breakfast cereal as high as 60% sugar. Some granola cereals are around 40% sugar.

Did it not occur to Calvin to simply dump the contents of the box out in the yard where birds and other wild animals can eat it (if they’re that foolhardy!)?

Looked at a box of Captain Crunch. No wonder we were bouncing off the walls when we were kids!

I did notice that the “complete breakfast” in ads was a little larger than what I ate, but…
