I wonder (considering what Troglodyte posted about expecting a meek-looking fellow) if Infernus might be a Common Orn (like Clip Clop), perhaps an in-law relative of Marigold’s? If so, and if Clip Clop’s temperament is typical of those of Common Orns, the Unicorn of Death could be uncharacteristically meek indeed…

If that’s anything like The Angel Of Death, I think I’ll pass on meeting him… for as long as possible! o_o
