When I worked at a zoo gift shop, we had radios with different channels for the different departments, but apparently moving the dwarf croc named Swamp Pa inside for the winter is a channel 1 (all call) thing. To all the guests im the gift shop it crackled “the croc is now secure”. Leading the one obvious wise guy to ask, “So there was an insecured croc out there?”. Siiighh
I was told, while vacationing in Florida, to stay far away from these beasts, especially on land. Apparently they can move very fast for short distances, and everything is a potential meal!
Also, why would anyone take off his sneakers to step into a stream? Gators aside, there’s a real possibility of stepping on broken beer bottles or fish hooks.
