I, for one, am just glad that Beni explained it.

We just don’t have a proper word for that sound.

But Alis isn’t on the snow.

Darned if I can figure out how they ever managed to make pants out of snow anyway, let alone why.

Corduroy pants had that effect,for us husky fellows ;)

I remember wearing those things. When I was in first grade, they wouldn’t let us little girls wear pants to school, so in winter the moms would put snow pants or slacks on under the girls skirts/dresses!

I remember wrestling the things on and off kids I babysat too… ugh!

Petey should accompany her on his oboe. His Heenk-ing would be an interesting contrast to her Weenk-ing.

Nothing compares to the virtual symphony of snowpants and corduroy trousers…

Weenk! Listen to the sound of the snowpants, frotton-leg to frotton-leg. What music they make!

My kids had “snow pants” and they did nothing to hinder their rambunctiousness. In fact, it made their rough and tumble more enjoyable because they could play in the cold, wet snow (we’re on the West Coast and that’s the only kind of snow we get) without freezing fingers, or bums.
