The first two panels seem to talk about technology failure, but the common topic is stupidity of man. First: A man never saving his works on a computer. Second: A man intentionally coming very close to a dangerous machine. Three: A monk writing political pamphlets instead of copying bible texts and not hiding it. Four: A caveman not aware of the fact that everybody else of his people went out for fishing.

If he wrote his masterpiece (for weeks? Months? Years?) without saving it every day, but waiting forever instead, then he deserves it.
