By definition, cloning is the act of making a copy of something. So twins don’t really qualify.

identical twins come from the same egg therefore they are not cloned.

If they didn’t get the difference between “splitting” and “copying”, they really have a lot of research to do… Are we all our own “clones” because our DNA keep replicating with our cells?

Taking lessons does not make one an artist. You should hear me “play” the piano.

Twins happen! My grandfather had a twin, I have twin sisters (11 years older than me) and now twin grand dtrs. Two of my cousins have twin grandkids. My high school class had 54 students with four sets of twins – Diane Deane Daughety, Bill Bob Frazier, Carol Connie Heubner were hard to tell apart. But I did manage to tell the Miller twins apart – Mary Lou was much cuter than Larry!

The twins in the picture are Cathleen and Colleen Wade in 1967 as photographed by Diane Arbus. Wonder if Ripley’s got the license to “clone” the photo of the girls.

Beijing was the first town hosting summer and winter olympics. There were so far five participants winning medals both in the summer and the winter olympics. One of them, the german Christa Luding-Rothenburger, got their medals even in the same year (1988 in Calgary and Seoul). And who knew, that until 1948, also artists (musicians, sculptors, architects, and writers) participated in the games? In olden times, there were also pistol-duels!
