as much as I have a DVD player with only a few Blu-Ray (Clannad and Clannad After Story) in my DVD collection, doesn’t anybody miss VCRs and VHSs?
By the time grandpa gets the blu-ray, the grandson will want to see Netflix.
My son tells me I’m still living in black and white…….
The thing about Electronics is as soon as you think you are up to date you find out you are not :-(
I have other things to do than recompile my music library every six months. I have what I have, and that’s it, thank you very much.

Samsung just gave up on making Blu-Ray players, so there you go.
a Little??
As I say all the time, I’m an analog guy in a digital age.
I miss vcrs and recording what I wanted provided I figured out how to program it and there was no power failure.
The $15 one is a DVD player. The $35 one is a BlueRay player. The $85 one is a BlueRay read/write. You pay for future time and features. My wife wondered why I bought a CD player. The next year all of the vinal racks were gone at the music store.
yup!!
