Welcome aboard the modern express train back to the doldrums, disappointment, and ordinariness of everyday life. It’s like the opposite of the Hogwarts Express, but with better AC.
You know, altogether, I don’t know what was gained from that whole space camp experience, other than the memories. Definitely one of the bizarrest space camps I’ve ever seen.
There was some question last strip if Lottie brushing off Tuan was meant simply to let him down easy, or if Lottie was trying to protect herself from forming an attachment to him. Based on this strip, I tend to lean towards the latter option; if she was simply trying to protect Tuan’s feelings, I wouldn’t think Lottie would feel a love letter from him would make her sad. (But maybe that’s just how I want to see it, I dunno.)
Still, it’s one plot thread I really wish would get followed up on, but I doubt it will. Too bad, I kinda liked Tuan. Ah, well, such is life.

Just noticed. I am a bit of a train buff and the author did a great job on the train trucks (wheels).
