I might be first but will pass this one to one of the cat folks.

I have a cat and she likes to use the paper behind the litterbox.

no, thanks. I’ll just squat behind the sofa

Our two “boys” like to use the same one. One apparently wanting to “top” the other even in that.

One of them will even nap in the extra unused one.

Note: if you have a litter for each cat, you usually will avoid marking by females and fixed males.
