Estate sales usually have a portable room HEPA filter for cheap. Vacuum it out and replace the filters. Check the filters in 4 months and you will be amazed at what it has caught. I have one in our bedroom, one by the wood stove, and one by the cat box.
My wife and I had a cat for years but suddenly I found myself profoundly allergic to cats. If I petted our cat, the skin on my hands would redden and itch. If I touched my face after touching the cat my eyes would redden and water and my nose would run. Luckily our cat did not like to stay indoors so we kept him outdoors for the rest of his life. I miss having a cat but I can’t be around any cats or anyone who has been holding or petting a cat.

Yeah, my cat’s shed hair makes my nose itch.

Better replace all of your A/C filters too. Time to vacuum the cat too.

Or have them all.

Don’t even start with the shedding thing. My car has enough fur for a spare dog or two.

Asked the vet about it once—cats run at a different temperature, so there is almost no chance of catching something from an indoor cat.

Could we have some follow up on yesterday’s strip? At least a cup of coffee and a wink wink.

I hate to think how much I’ve actually eaten. It gets into everything.

My friend and I love our cats and crossstitch. Inevitably, cat fur gets caught in the stitches while we’re sewing. We call it ‘specialty thread’.

We have given up the fight and surrendered – everything tastes better with dog hair…

Fine floaty cat hair in the eye is THE WORST.
