If people get so upset over playing golf, then why do they do it?

If I’m paying for something, it better be fun and if it isn’t it comes under the category of a tax or fine.

I know that feeling of wasting all my allocated good shots practicing. As Chi Chi Rodriguez said when asked what advice he would give to the average amateur golfer. He said to hit the ball with your practice swing.

So he’s going to make the green in one, but still triple-bogey…

which reminds me of something I’ve wondered for a while, but never researched… do baseball teams have an average number of runs they can expect to get in a season, and do they then screw up their standing by using them up in clumps in just a handful of games?

I think you wasted your entire lifetime’s allotment of good shots, Roger.

I’ve been a golfer all my life, and let’s just say the game is a mix between thinking “This is awesome!” and “It’s no wonder golf is a four-letter word”. I love it, though, and look forward to playing more.
