Get better? We have legalized via legislation sins and abominations that have undermined the very foundations of our society. Taking prayer and the Bible out of schools and public life; legalizing the murder of unborn children; denigrating the nuclear family by accepting pre marital sexual behavior and alternate lifestyles; legalizing gambling; legalizing marijuana; and the list goes on… We have allowed the inmates to take over the asylum and now the sane are considered mad.
I remember all the news stories from the 1950s about racist mobs lynching innocent people. And I remember how many major political figures were murdered in the 1960s. Plus I remember all the bombings by home-grown terrorists in the 1970s. Things aren’t any worse now, just different. Maybe you’ve forgotten how it really was.
There’s is another thing that hasn’t changed: 60 years ago, elderly people sat around and complained that kids were lazy and undisciplined, and they were ruining the country. The only difference is, you were one of those kids.
