This was a Friday game where I worked once. I called it “Friday GIOMD” – Get it off my desk. The goal was to pass work off to the next person so your desk was clear at the end of Friday. This worked up (to the boss), down (to subordinates), and sideways (to project co-contributors).

Dreaded request from the boss at 3:30 on Friday: “Gotta minute?” Or the phone call: “Oh, I’m glad I caught you before you left…”.
