The sequence of expressions on Hubbs’ face leads me to think he knows Al is El (or a woman)…Al is obviously begging for a kiss in a most fem way; even a moron like Hubbs can see that imo

Will s/he be able to get Hubbs the Obtuse to respond to her expression of closeted yearning? And if s/he does, will s/he be setting Hubbs on the road to gay-dom? Will he leave her for a Chippendales dancer? Or begin frequenting juice bars with names like The Cockpit in the company of mustachioed musclemen in biker garb?

How will the utterly nonplussed Al/Ellie react? Will s/he retain his/her male attire as a penance and join a monastery? Or seek counseling from a psychiatrist specializing in Pseudo Gender Identity Syndrome (PGIS)? Or, out of reactionary revenge, become a pole dancer in Poland? Or even more extreme, join a sect like The Church of Jesus Christ, Ecdysiast, and flaunt her assets and bustets as a form of prayer?
