I take a bubble bath Saturday night after the day’s work is done (so I don’t have to bother Sunday morning in preparation for church.

I do shower at all times. Cleanliness is next to——whatever. I shower when I need to shower, and won’t let any labels stand in my way.

I really like how sometimes Pastis is obviously making fun of the left and sometimes making fun of the right. I admire that.

I remember back in college, when you were on the can, and someone was in the shower, which could have been in the afternoon, early evening, or night, you had to yell “Flushing” so the guy in the shower could avoid hot water burns.

If I shower before bed, my wife likes it. Then I may need another shower in the morning.

The difference between blue-collar workers and white-collar workers is when they take their showers.

I do neither, I usually take my shower midday, but my shift is 1 to 10 PM and I fit all my recreation in the time before I go to work.

There is a “logic” here that needs to be addressed.

“White collar” workers shower before work because they need to present the world with a ‘fresh face’.“Blue collar” workers shower after work because their jobs get them dirty.

“Bathing” is only for the wealthy, the indolent and the “differently-abled” – who else has the time to waste in the tub?

Actual working blue collar folk tend to shower after work: Keeps the house cleaner and your honey likes it.

Folks who pay to exercise tend to shower at the gym.

I am well right of Louis XIV and would not dream of showering in the morning, when still in truth half-asleep. A nice, warm shower before going to bed is perfect in so many ways….

I change my pillowcases a lot during allergy season, gets pollen off. I used to have a cat that slept on my head, she shed a lot of black fur, changed pillowcase almost daily then.

i never understand people who shower in the morning. you’re taking everything that was on you to bed the night, you have to wake up early, and the only good thing about it is you’re clean for the day, which can be achieved by showering at night
