As feared, GoComics is pulling the plug on sherpa , and consequently Cleo and Company on March 1

I am open to ideas as to how to proceed. I’ve been posting C&C comics and animations on tumblr recently, including today’s.

One way to continue is to post a daily C&C on tumblr and then we can continue to comment here on the ten year old Ballard Street

as in the past. The only thing different for you , my loyal readers and contributors, would be that to see the daily strip

you would have to go to cleoandcompany.tumblr everyday instead of sherpa.comThere is a means to comment directly onto the the C&C part of tumblr, so this is possible too.

But one way or another, a change is coming

I was about two months too late on my prediction of when Sherpa would be deleted. At least I finished reading all the comics. Now I have to try to get on tumbler and hope that I don’t have to register to read Cleo. I just hope that they don’t get rid of the comics on the main page that haven’t been new. Emmy Lou, Imagine This and about 50 others that aren’t new.

nothing etched in stone as far as using tumblr (sic) as a platform is concerned,I had already posted stuff there and it seemed a good

way to continue the strip on line….but as I said earlier, their comments procedure has major flaws….

we’ve been looking to creating a Cleo and Company website where comments can be made with the day’s comic

on the same page, (wow, what a concept, just like being on the main page at GC!)

But I will continue to post at both sherpa for the next 48 days and also on tumblr (sic)

We’ll continue to have our comments here at 10 year old ballard street, but it would’t be a big surprise if GC

shut us down here, too…..
