@Number Three Today’s strip Is funny , even when our Hero Mr Andrew Capp is not present , he strikes fear into the darts club members , and not one of them is brave enough to tell Andy he is being banned :o) right? my avatar today is an old photo showing how my right thumb looked before I stupidly mangled it in the stepladder fiasco , how was your day? and welcome back , ours will be a bit gloomy because it has been raining , with hail and a hurricane force wind for 48 hrs now so we have to stay inside , no Sunday morning drive or anything :o( take care pal.

In his current condition it’s highly unlikely that he’ll remember the conversation. For the immediate moment the best policy would be to tell him and then duck and cover.

I went for my Fish & Chips today which was lovely.

I have some great news as well. I’ve managed to bag myself a much earlier appointment to give blood. I saw on the website today that there was two cancellations.

So I’m now giving blood on 6th March.

When writing my Doctoral thesis back in the ‘70s, I had a big argument with my Canadian thesis supervisor about the spelling of “independant” versus “independent”. My parents were 1920s generation British/Canadian and “independant” was how I learned it.
