Good old contractual friendships. What they lack in authenticity, the make up for in formality.

is Dakota going to invite Max as well, or will Phoebe invite him unbeknownst to Dakota?

Considering how much Dakota and her friends talk or gossip, how would they even have time to eat?

Dakota evolved a lot since her first mentioning. – If she had been that way long before, Phoebe and Marigold never’d have met.

Phoebe, stop proving that you’re not cool.

Just kidding. K-12 cool is horribly overrated.

I like the dynamic between them. In the space of two panels Phoebe went from sort of friend to full blown friend.

I’m so happy for Dakota for inviting Phoebe to sit with her.

Yeah, don’t push your luck, Phoebs.

While it’s nice of Dakota to do this, it’s the other friends already at the table that I worry might cause trouble, not seeing Phoebe at “their” level.

Dakota’s looking older.

I sense an ulterior motive. That and whatever that stuff is that Dakota uses to keep her hair under control these days.

Phoebe is basking in the moment.
